From the Review Pile

From the Review Pile is a meme hosted by Stepping Out of the Page every Thursday.

The aim of this meme is to showcase books that you’ve received for review (or if you don’t receive review books, any book that you own and really want to read/review) but haven’t yet got around to reading, in order to give the book some extra publicity.

This week I’m picking a book I’ve heard a lot of hype about and decided that it was a must read for me! I was incredibly happy to get ahold of this book and I cannot wait to start reading. It was yet again another book to my hefty to-read pile, but I really couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I hope this young-adult novel lives up to some of the hype and I very much look forward to reading it.

Pushing the LimitsPushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
Expected publication:
July 31st 2012 by Harlequin Teen

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible. Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

What have you got this week to read and review?

  1. I loved this and I hope you do too. Hope the hype doesn’t end up making you disappointed in the end. Great pick. 🙂

I saw your review! So I was very happy to see something so positive from you! 😀 I hope so too because I realise that hype can ruin a book which is sometimes why I choose to ignore reading lots of reviews about ‘big’ books so my hopes aren’t dashed! Thank you! 🙂

  2. Oh I’m seeing this book everywhere, a lot of people I know thoroughly enjoyed it! Si I hope you do too! 🙂

Thanks for dropping by, I really appreciate every single view. If you're a fellow blogger I'll return follows/comments. Unfortunately this is an award and tag free zone because of time constraints, but I appreciate the thought.
